Night Vision Devices

We ask that all night vision device purposes be conducted via email at nycteasystems@gmail.com in order to not only better serve you, but you create a more personal experience when selecting an item to invest in. We understand the importance of ensuring that your hard earned money goes toward the device that is right for you.

Our pricing reflects pre hand selected intensifier tubes, and undergo strict measures to ensure you are getting the most quality out of your device. Our requirements for our intensifier tubes are as follows

Elbit XLSH Green Phosphor - 1800 FOM or better with as little black spots as possible
Elbit XLSH White Phosphor - 2200 FOM or better with as little black spots as possible
L3 18um Unfilmed White Phosphor - 2400 FOM or better, no spots marked on factory L3 data sheets.
L3 1601 Thin Filmed White Phosphor - These intensifiers hold a maximum of 1500 FOM as per the data sheets. We do our best to ensure that these intensifiers have no spots on charts. Do not let the FOM number scare you off, as we have seen plenty of times HALO numbers 0.7 and lower, and EBI values 0.5 and lower, although not guaranteed.

All green phosphor units will be shipped with LLI White Phosphor (purple) filters.
All units across the inventory will be shipped in a hard case that includes batteries, data sheets, lens cloth, and a random piece of swag (sticker, patch, you never know whats coming).

All units across the inventory are built with MILSPEC optics. This includes Carson, Elbit, Edmund, or Nightline. We will NOT use lesser quality optics in order to prevent the possibility of image distortion, light flares, artifacts, etc.

This purchasing process, as well as our hand selection, ensures that you are getting quality while being able to interact with us directly to ask all of the questions you need. Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question.

Low Light Innovation Aeternus Binocular

$5500 Elbit XLSH Green Phosphor
$6000 L3 1601 Thin Film White Phosphor
$6300 Elbit XLSH White Phosphor
$8300 L3 18um Unfilmed White Phosphor

Low Light Innovations is proud to present the AETERNUS

Utilizing a single CR123 battery, The AETERNUS was designed to have prolonged battery life vs. other night vision goggles on the market.

One of the ways we accomplished this was by eliminating the IR illuminator. Here at Low Light Innovations, we are consumers. With that mindset, we re-designed our housing to eliminate unnecessary weight and unnecessary features. In doing so, the AETERNUS has an extra 5 hours of battery life in comparison to the mainstream competition.

The AETERNUS is the most rugged and user-friendly fixed bridge housing on the market. Our housings are designed to accommodate a wide range of user applications. With our design, the joints of the pods have been re-engineered to have more structural integrity vs other systems on the market. Because of this re-design, an additional sealant has been implemented to create a truly watertight system.  The total weight of the AETERNUS is an impressive 535 grams without a battery.

 The Aeternus comes in a variety of configurations such as the following;

  • Housing color: Black; FDE; Ranger Green; Grey
  • Optics variant: RPO UL Optics; Elbit Mil-Spec Optics; Anvis (Coming soon)
  • Intensifier tube variant: Contract Green (Limited availability); Elbit White Phosphor; L3 White Phosphor.

Elbit Green Phosphor: The perfect entry level setup without breaking the bank. All Elbit GP units ship with LLI Purple Filters

Elbit White Phosphor: These tubes are a great budget-friendly alternative to L3 WP they provide similar performance while remaining much more affordable to an intermediate user.

All Elbit White Phosphor tubes are hand-selected by our team to ensure minimal spots and excellent specifications.

L3 Unfilmed White Phosphor: These tubes are the best on the market bar none, they provide a crisp image while maintaining excellent brightness. These are certainly the tube of choice if your goal is top-of-the-line performance.

AB Night Vision RNVG Binocular

$5800 Elbit XLSH Green Phosphor
$6700 Elbit XLSH White Phosphor
$8700 L3 18um Unfilmed White Phosphor

Familiar controls ensure ease of use.  Any user familiar with PVS-14 goggles will find the controls to be intuitive.  The switch and focusing functions are identical to the PVS-14.  The switch has 3 positions: Off, On, and On with IR illuminator.  Like the PVS-14, the switch does not cut power to the tubes when changing positions to turn the IR illuminator on.  The RNVG has IR signaling capability.  As a safety feature the switch knob must be pulled out to turn the IR illuminator on.  An IR spot/flood adapter can be used if the user desires more range from their IR illuminator.

The RNVG is designed to work off a single 123 battery.  The binocular has a battery life of over 16 hours and flashes a low battery indicator within the optics when the battery needs changing.

RNVG optics feature a full range of adjustment.  The mil-spec objectives allow the user to focus between 9.8 inches and infinity, while the mil-spec eyepieces offer a diopter adjustment range of -6 to +2.  The interpupillary distance is adjustable to match the users eye spacing from 51mm to 73mm.  IP adjustment is accomplished with jackscrews that maintain user settings using a ball-detent method to prevent any changes due to vibration.

The RNVG was designed from the ground up to be extremely tough.  When a night vision binocular is dropped and broken, it will most likely fail at the joint between the optical pods and the bridge.  However, both the optical pods and bridge on the RNVG are CNC machined from solid billet 7075 aluminum to prevent breakage.  This material is 36% stronger than most common steel making the RNVG the most rugged night vision goggle in production.  Careful design combined with advanced machining techniques have kept the weight of the RNVG down to a very competitive level at 555 grams (without battery).

ACTinBlack DTNVS Articulating Binocular

$11,000 L3 18um Unfilmed White Phosphor

***ALL NYCTEA SYSTEMS UNITS ARE BUILT ACCORDING TO AVAILABILITY OF PARTS***

The DTNVS is a lightweight folding binocular built on proven technology and enhanced for greater reliability verse previous generations of Night Vision Binoculars. The DTNVS binocular combines lightweight materials and a low profile when folded to the helmet which reduces neck strain during extended missions.

The DTNVS binocular has a full feature set with individual sideways ON/OFF for each eyepiece and Flip-Up ON/OFF when folded up preventing backsplash on the helmet. To complete the DTNVSs’ features it incorporates built-in IR LED for close quarter missions with separate IR-ON indicator and low battery indicator in the field of view.

No external battery port – Why? The DTNVS uses standard CR123A batteries as commonly found in lasers or flashlights. A single battery provides over 25h run time. However, as the pods shut off when flipped up and therefore halve the power consumption, most users report up to 35h on a single battery.
